Latte's life, part 1 [interactions]

What's Latte been doing since she joined our family? How's she fitting into her new home? She'd love to tell [and show] you! This is the first post of two sharing the adventures of our industrious and unbearably cute kitten.

Human interactions

Food service

Inter-cat relations

As you can see in all these pictures of Latte, two things are certain:
1) Latte is loved beyond measure.
2) She's appreciated for all the love, laughter and crazy she brings to our family [she fits in purr-fectly].

    1. I am adorable, aren't I? You'd think that would garner me treats! A kitten can't get by on two 3oz cans of food a day (and some of my sisfur's food too)! ~Latte

  2. Well, young lady, you do look as if you have made yourself at home. Our mom noticed that you have some pretty substantial paws. For some reason she particularly likes cats with big paws…maybe it is because of the ability to make lots of biscuits. Anyhoo…you are quite cute, and we are happy you have a wonderful furever home with an experienced cat wrangler! 1. The humans argue over how big I'll be. Based on my paws, Momma thinks I might become Bear-sized. But for the first few months I lived here, she was sure I was going to be on the smaller side. I like keeping the humans guessing! ~Latte

  6. Such a cute and gorgeous kitty! I had no doubt she'd fit in nicely and figure the bond between the 'sisters' will grow as Latte gets older.

    1. I'm not sure how much of a bond Ellie is up for. Latte's tried to snuggle with her a couple of times and it didn't end well.

    1. Oh, she knows the refrigerator already. She was closed in there for a few minutes. Imagine my surprise when I opened the door and she was just sitting on the shelf staring at me. Ellie's a grazer so I put her wet food plate in refrigerator and I think that's what Latte's after when she crawls in the fridge. Of course, kittens are in everything anyway!

  13. She is SUCH a precious little angel! I laughed at your comment today on our blog about Latte laying in the middle of the floor - the center of attention - and thus getting stepped on. I can't even begin to count the number of times poor Mudpie has been stepped on!

    1. Of course, Bear used to always sleep in the middle of the floor too. No wonder he "got" torties so well!

  15. Latte, you are very sweet, and I can tell you and your momma love each other! Hope Ellie Mae gets used to you soon. I thought you would be a small cat, but you may have been fooling me - you are getting big. Just more to love.

    1. She IS getting big!! I assumed she'd be a smaller cat - but I'm not sure anymore - especially when you look at her paws. I see so much of Bear in her - but she's her own kind of wonderful and loving. Latte's loved - that's for sure.

AMARULA: Latte you are a tortie (not as beautiful as me but still...) and you are right to charge extra for belly shots but whap your sister off the bed! Tortie's always get first choice of where to sleep!
