How to tell if your kitten is a feminist

Feminists mean business! Who can argue with principles such as respect, equality and equal rights and opportunities? I suspect my kitten is a feminist. Wait, WHAT?!? Why? I'll show you! You might be surprised at the clues your kitten is a feminist hidden in normal cat behavior.

How to tell if your kitten is a feminist:

1.) She believes in the equal division of housework.

2.) Bras are the mortal enemies of everything she holds dear.

Since she isn't expected to wear bras and couldn't possibly know how uncomfortable they are, she must object to them on principle.

3.) She thinks "lady-like" is an antiquated [and sexist] term.

She's proud of her womanly body ... but do not dare objectify her!

4.) She protests the pay treat gap between men and women.

Ellie shared that her brofur got more food and treats than she did and Latte believes this is discriminatory.

5.) She knows she doesn't need a man to rescue her from the seedier things in life. She tries to convince her sisfur of this.

6.) She wants a vote.

Do you know a kitten who's a feminist?

Verdict: Was I successful in using everyday pictures to support the narrative that my kitten is a feminist? Is that twisting of the truth believable? I now see why a picture is worth a thousand words - everyone sees something different according to their own beliefs, personality and preferences! This is definitely something to consider next time you see a photograph claiming to contain "proof" of something!

  1. Equality in all things, I say. Now if you will excuse me, I have a staff rota to organise and Mrs H to boss around, all before mid-morning nap. After lunch, well, lets just say I'll be slaving away on the farm, counting sheep, followed by a serious session contemplating the nutritional quality of food and the effects on insomnia and tummy fur.

    1. You really should delegate some of that work to your staff, ERin! A lady should be allowed to lounge about - especially a princess like yourself! ~Latte

  7. Feminist or opportunist? Latte is a very busy kitten, but then that does seem to be a kitten’s MO! Clever idea for a post. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
