Pet Blogger Showcase 10/01/2016

A few weeks ago, Bear and I were asked to co-host a Pet Blogger Linky Party along with the established co-hosts PetFaves, Heart Like A Dog, and Felines Opines.  As I'd considered starting a blog hop of our own after seeing the benefits of joining other blog hops, I thought we'd jump at this opportunity to learn more about what hosting a blog hop requires. So thank you to these amazing ladies for the opportunity to learn from and co-host with them!

Unfortunately, we didn't participate/link up in the last Pet Blogger Showcase, but in keeping with the tradition of this particular linky party, I'll share my three favorite link ups from the last Showcase.

After Bear's tumor scare, which I shared in Too Close to a Nightmare I Couldn't Handle, I've been especially cognizant of the issue of cancer in our fur babies. I know the agony involved in finding an inexplicable lump, choosing surgery, and waiting for a diagnosis. While this post is geared toward Chihuahuas, it's a good guide for all pet parents and an excellent reminder that our fur babies are just as susceptible to health problems as people are.

One of my favorite things about blogging is creating a permanent record of Bear's life that I can cherish long after he leaves me. There are so many things one thinks she'll remember about all the little quirks, daily habits, and funny stories of the furries we love so much. But as I learned with Kitty, important details are lost over time. In celebrating Ducky's fourth Gotcha Day with this post, we learn about many of the pieces that add up to the incredible whole of being Ducky. I dare you to read about her and not fall in love with her yourself. I especially liked the comment about Ducky making everyone laugh, because Bear does that for me everyday too. It's like they know exactly what we need and when to give it to us!

Nose works involves training pet dogs to detect and differentiate scents. I knew nothing about the topic and so I enjoyed learning about it and learning about Luke's progress in the sport that's fun for reactive dogs.

Then visit 3 other blogs that joined the party and leave a meaningful comment. Feel free to share with your followers on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. Then each week the hosts will feature their favorite 3 posts from the previous Linky Party on the new party post.

 Pet Blogger Showcase Rules

2.    Spread the Love! Leave a quality comment(more than just a few words) on at least 3 other posts from the linky party. Tell them why you love their post, encourage them, share on social media.
3.    Check back for the next linky party to see if you are featured on one of the hosts’ blogs.

*Note: By adding your post to the linky party you are giving the hosts permission to use an image from your post if your post will be a featured post on their blog to help encourage people to click through to your post. The image may be used individually or as a collage.

That’s it! No need to RSVP. No need to bring a covered dish. No need to add the linky to your post. No need to include a button. Just come join the party and PAWTY ON

    1. I struggled so much with taking decent pictures that I quit entirely until I started our blog. I'm so glad I did try again, if for no other reason than I have pictures of Bear and all his quirks. I never did get one of his tongue sticking out just SLIGHTLY when he slept. I'd give just about anything for one of those, but he outgrew it after a few years :(

After facing challenges for leaving my sweet puppy in grooming station I feel very sad but thanks to the team of Bone Sweet Bone they treat my puppy like my home. If you could write a post on grooming shelter then it will help people like me.
