Ellie's box ... and a #ChewyInfluencer review

Recently, we got our second Art of Paws item. You might remember Art of Paws made our cat shelves (if you missed the review, you may find it here: So your cats are bored. Now what?). Knowing how much Ellie loves scratchers, we got an Art of Paws scratcher to review. We'll share the review at a later time - but it's relevant to this post because Ellie fell in love with the box the scratcher came in. She actually spent days working on the final masterpiece though we imply it was only a day here. Enjoy the pictures as much as Ellie enjoys the box! Our Chewy Influencer review follows - for a change, the review is in pictures like the rest of the post.

Chewy is easy to love: they have a wide selection of QUALITY pet products, freshness is guaranteed, and they offer fast shipping and easy returns on all orders. With orders over $49, one to two day shipping is FREE! After hearing so many bloggers talk about Chewy's fast shipping, I was eager to see the difference for myself ... and sure enough! FAST! Much faster than any other seller I've encountered. Though my favorite part is 24/7 customer service. How many times have I been up late at night shopping for cat supplies, had a question, but couldn't ask it because chat wasn't available?

  1. Hmm, I suppose 50% hit rate isn't too bad. I wonder if it had been called something catchy, like: Goldie Locks and the Three Bears, whether it would have been more to a certain young mans liking?

  8. Ellie, you did such a wonderful job with pimping out your box. Your mom did a great job with helping you out on the outside. Thanks for sharing the step by step work of how you made it so good looking. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

  9. Oh Bear, you are a silly boy, and I shouldn't laugh at some of your antics because Ellie is my friend, but your peanut gallery comments are too funny!

And Ellie, I am quite impressed with your artistic vision and focus! Gorgeous sculpted box!

  10. Ellie, your box looks just like Manny and Chili Bruce's box! And you know what? I purchased a special box cutter, just so I could remove those irritating box flaps with one stroke; the old, antique box cutter that The Hubby has is just too, too uncool.

  11. Ellie, you do good work. That box is crafted just right. The fringes add some character to the box. The stick ums tell the story of you and your attitude.
Bear, you are in a rut, just like me. I hate to try anything new. It scares me but that's just between you and me. I don't need Budd and Tyebe knowing I'm scared. I'd rather be a snob and be too good to try anything new. mol
We don't get Chewy in Canada but we enjoyed the deliciousness of this ad that didn't seem like an ad.

  12. Well, you sure did a good job of getting momma and me to read the entire sponsored content and not just overlook it. Hearing Bear's Don Rickles imitation made it worth it!!! We read every word ! The honest review by you Bear, was good to see. Ellie, yours too. And I must say I am impressed by your 'artistic aplomb' Ellie! That box is now a work of art. I know when your momma turns it around you will have an equally unique look for us to enjoy. I'm glad you came over in your tunnel. Braiding furs was fun. Wanna make pate out of shredded fuds next time? We'll use our claws. How about next week?

  13. What artistry on that box! Ellie you a a Picatso, if you don't mind the comparison to a hoomon. We think the Weruva is tasty too. Bear doesn't know what he's missing.

  16. Ellie you've done it! You've created the 8th Wonder of the World! What do you call your masterpiece? Has your agent booked your showings at the fine art galleries yet?

Bear, I'm with you on that Weruva stuffs. I don't care for it either. Mom has tried on more than one occasion to dish me up some of that brand and I turn my nose up at it. I'll take burgers from McD's and pizza, thank you. No? OK, how 'bout some Fancy Feast! Nom nom nom. Winks.
