The Beauty of Love

Bear and I appreciate everyone's comments, support, and love after yesterday's post. You have no idea how much those thoughts and the pictures of your kitties meant to me - how much they brightened my day and made it just a little easier to go on. I need another day to catch my bearings but Bear is already working on a post for tomorrow or the next day - whenever he can wrangle me to type it up for him :) Thank you for being our friends ... for laughing with us ... and being there when things aren't so funny. Here's two pictures we haven't posted before - as a tribute to the beauty of the feline/human bond ... the healing nature of that bond ... and a reminder that LOVE is what makes this life worth it. When you find love ... treasure it, appreciate it, give it your all, and refuse to give up on it even when any other road would be easier. If you do those things, you can live your life proudly and without regret. You can say that you left this world a better place and know the love you gave will live on in all the people you touch ... and all the people those people touch ... and all the people those people touch ... on and on. <3
ps - For our blogging friends, we haven't forgotten about you!!! We will be back to making the rounds and following everyone's adventures soon!

  7. Dunno what's up but we all go through writing and personal slumps. That's kinda what our CWB group is for—the share things. TW has been going through major depression and sometimes it's hard to make others laugh but it's good medicine.

    1. That is true. Momma says part of the reason I saved her is because I made sure she laughed regularly :)

  8. Love and happiness is only ever a cuddle and a purr away.... Chin up and best paws forwards as they say.... Now if you have ever tried that it is nigh on impossible with all four paws, so best try one, and watch out for low walls. purrs ERin PS You are on a journey to happiness and friendship, and all around you are good peeps family. It's your journey so have fun and know you are not alone.

  12. We don't want your Momma to be sad and we hope she won't be for much longer. Our Mama's father used to say, " There are plenty of fish in the sea." And seriously, there are...for every fish you throw back another one will surface. Just keep throwing the ones that make you feel sad back into the sea and only keep the ones that make you happy! And in between all that fishing, get back to doing the things that you love in life :D
